Prime Bank Limited opened its 127th branch at Bhatiary, Chittagong on 29th November. Director of the Bank Md. Nader Khan was present at the program as the Chief Guest. Director of Bank Imran Khan and former Director Mrs. Shahnaz Quashem were present as the Special Guests. Additional Managing Director of the Bank M. Reazul Karim presided over the program while Deputy Managing Director Md. Tabarak Hossain Bhuiyan delivered the welcome address.

In the speech of the Chief Guest, Director of the Bank Md. Nader Khan said that Prime Bank has been contributing to the social development by establishing Prime Bank Foundation. The Board of Directors of the Bank donates 4% of its annual profit to the Foundation to enable it support the Health, Education and sports of the country. The Foundation has been playing important role in education by providing stipends to the poor but meritorious students every year, in health by setting up eye hospital and in sports by establishing Prime Bank Cricket Club through which it is training up the upcoming & talented cricketers of the country at the International Standards to enhance their skills. Besides that the Foundation is also working on establishing a Nursing Institute, Medical College and Convention Center.

Additional Managing Director of the Bank M. Reazul Karim said that the Bank is now in a strong position on the basis of different banking standards because of three main reasons – highly capable board of directors, skilled manpower and confidence of the customers on the Bank. He added that Prime Bank has been rendering banking services through its Mobile Banking, SMS Banking and Internet Banking “Altitude”. Besides, the Bank has added “Prime Cash” which is operated by finger prints and voice recognition, for the unbanked people of the country.

Greeting the guests of the program, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Md. Tabarak Hossain Bhuiyan said, Prime Bank believes that the country will become truly progressive when the people of the grass root level will be self dependent. He invited all the small and medium entrepreneurs of Bhatiary to take the advantage of the Bank’s services to expand their businesses and thus play a meaningful role in the economy of the region as well as the country.

Spoke on the occasion among the local elites, business representatives and guests were the Managing Director of Nazia Steel and Sagorika Ship Breaking – Shamsul Alam, Chairman of the Rising Group Aslam Chowdhury, FCA, Owner of Federal Steel Md. Saiful Huda Jahangir, Managing Director of Mother Steel Ltd.-Master Abul Quashem and renowned businessman Altaf Hossain.

The Head of Bhatiary branch, Mohammad Abu Ali gave the vote of thanks. The program ended with Milad & Doa Mahfil followed by opening of 127th ATM booth at the branch.
