Prime Bank Limited opened its 121st branch at Boalmari, Faridpur on 3rd September. Director of the Bank Quazi Sirazul Islam inaugurated the branch as the chief guest. Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Md. Ehsan Khasru presided over the program. Deputy Managing Director Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury delivered the welcome address.

Spoke on the occasion among the guests of the program were Mayor and President of the Merchant Association of Boalmari Bazar – Abdus Shukur Sheikh, Chairman of Boalmari Upazila – M M Mosharaf Hossain Musa Mian and UNO of Boalmari – Ms. Nasreen Jahan.

Inaugurating the branch, Director of the Bank Quazi Sirazul Islam said actual economic progress of the country is possible through the economic development of the grass-root level of the country. Prime Bank is playing a vital role in the development of the country’s business and agriculture through expanding its branches network. He invited all the businessmen and the elites present at the occasion to take the advantage of the Bank’s Retail and SME loans and various types of deposit products through this branch. He informed that the Bank will provide loans to the emerging industries of Jamdani and Shital Pati of Boalmari’s heritage. The loan will start from 2 crores and will be gradually enhanced up to 10 crores in course of time, he added.

Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Md. Ehsan Khasru said Prime Bank has been rendering customer centric savings and loan services and has achieved significant progress in all areas of business operations with the direction of its competent Board of Directors and efficient Management. He said, the Bank has also been enhancing the usage of technology in its banking services with the demand of time.

Greeting the guests of the program, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury said Prime Bank has been rendering its services to its customers through Mobile Banking, SMS Banking and Internet Banking “Altitude”. It has also introduced Biometric Smart Card “Prime Cash” to bring the untapped people of urban and rural areas of the country under Banking channel. The customers of the Bank will be able to operate their accounts through this card by their finger tips and voice recognition.
