The 42nd meeting of Prime Bank Shari’ah Supervisory Committee was held on 24 December in the Head Office of the Bank. The meeting was presided over by Chairman of Prime Bank Shari’ah Supervisory Committee and Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Prof. Maolana Mohammad Salahuddin. Among the members of the Committee, Khatib of Banani DOHS Jame Masjid Prof. Maolana Mohammad Shahidul Islam, Professor of Dhaka University Dr. Muhammad Abdur Rashid, Khatib of Sobhanbagh Jame Masjid Maolana Shah Mohammad Wali Ullah, President of Bangladesh Academy of Science Prof. Dr. M. Shamsher Ali, Member of Central Shari’ah Board M. Azizul Huq, Former Director of Prime Bank M A Wahhab, Member Secretary of Prime Bank Shari’ah Supervisory Committee Nasiruddin Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Md. Ehsan Khasru and Deputy Managing Director Md. Tabarak Hossain Bhuiyan were also present in the meeting.

The meeting discussed various issues including Shari’ah Audit Report related to Islamic Banking branches of the Bank and advised valuable suggestions and recommendations for proper Shari’ah compliance in the day-to-day operations of the Islamic Banking branches.
