Kanti Kumar has recently joined Prime Bank Limited as Deputy Managing Director. Prior to joining Prime Bank, Mr. Kumar was the Director & Head of Global Corporate Bank at Citibank N.A., Bangladesh.

Kanti holds a Bachelor and Masters in Social Science in Economics from University of Dhaka. He also did a Postgraduate Management Degree from The Nottingham Trent University, U.K.

During his more than 20 years in banking, Mr. Kumar worked with AB Bank Ltd, Standard Chartered Bank and Citibank N.A. His works in Corporate & Institutional Banking, Public Sector and Offshore Banking have earned many laurels for him. He also attended developmental assignments in India and Thailand.

Mr. Kumar attended a number of training courses, workshops and seminars in Risk Management, Leadership, Relationship Management and International Trade at home and abroad. He is also a Certified Trade Expert by Standard Chartered Bank.
