
Prime Bank Opens 124th Branch at Brahmanbaria
Prime Bank Limited opened its 124th branch in Brahmanbaria on 16th October. Chairman of the Bank Md. Shirajul Islam Mollah inaugurated the branch as the chief guest. Additional Managing Director M. Reazul Karim presided over the program while Deputy Managing Director Kanti Kumar Saha delivered the welcome address. Inaugurating the branch, Chairman of the Bank Md. Shirajul Islam Mollah said that Prime Bank has been delivering Islamic banking services along with Conventional banking from the beginning of its operations. He informed that Prime Bank has been contributing in the social development by supporting the education, health and sports of the country by donating 4% of its profits to the Prime Bank Foundation. The Foundation has been playing important role in education by providing stipends to the poor but meritorious students every year, in health by setting up eye hospital and in sports by establishing Prime Bank Cricket Club through which it is training up the upcoming & talented cricketers of the country at the International Standards. Addressing the customers and other stakeholders, Additional Managing Director M. Reazul Karim said that the Deposit and Loan portfolio of the Bank is very strong. He informed that the Bank will provide SME loans to the people of Brahmanbaria. The loan will be gradually enhanced up to 10 crores in course of time, he added. He also said that Prime Bank has started Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, etc. technology based services for the new generation customers of the Bank. Besides, the Bank has also been establishing Exchange Houses to facilitate the NRBs living abroad for sending their remittances in the country safer and faster. Spoke on the occasion among the local elites, business representatives and guests were former President of Brahmanbaria Chamber of Commerce and Industries Azizul Haque and the President of Brahmanbaria Press Club Syed Mizanur Rahman. The Head of Brahmanbaria branch, Syed Mahammed Ali Suhel gave the vote of thanks. The program ended with opening of ATM booth at the branch followed by Milad & Doa Mahfil.
