Prime Bank Limited opened its 122nd branch at the Karnafuli EPZ (KEPZ), Chittagong on 6th September. Director of the Bank Md. Nader Khan inaugurated the branch as the chief guest. Director Imran Khan was present as the special guest while Managing Director and CEO Md. Ehsan Khasru presided over the program. Deputy Managing Director Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury delivered the welcome address.

Spoke on the occasion among the guests were General Manager of Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority (BEPZA) and Incharge of KEPZ - Md. Khurshid Alam, Ex MD of Eastern Refinery Ltd and Ex Director of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation – AFM Ishaque and Ex CBA President of Chittagong Steel Mills Ltd – Md. Ishak.

Inaugurating the branch, Director of the Bank Md. Nader Khan said that the Bank’s actual capital is the trust & confidence of its customers. Prime Bank achieved success wherever it opened its branches because customer service is its primary objective, he added. He informed that Prime Bank has been contributing in the social development by supporting the education, health and sports of the country.

In his speech as the special guest of the program, Director of the Bank Imran Khan thanked BEPZA for allowing Prime Bank open its branches in four out of eight EPZ areas of the country. The Deposit and Loan portfolio of the Bank is very strong, he added; the products and services are planned according to the need of both the old and new generation of customers. There is “Prime Cash” for those who are less familiar with the Banking system while Internet Banking, SMS Banking, etc. technology based services are in place for the new generation customers of the Bank, he informed.

Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Md. Ehsan Khasru said Prime Bank has always been a bank based on modern and latest technology. The Bank is operated with automated banking system maintaining the international standards, he said. The Bank always provides its services with the demand of time; It is currently putting highest priority in technology based banking system because it is the demand of the new era.

Greeting the guests of the program, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury said Prime Bank believes that the country will become truly progressive when the people of the grass root level will be self dependent; and this is possible by promoting small and medium enterprises. Hence, Prime Bank is currently putting emphasis on SME sector.

The Head of KEPZ branch, Mohammad Nazim Uddin gave the vote of thanks. Later, Director of the Bank Imran Khan opened the 115th ATM booth at the branch. The program ended with Milad & Doa Mahfil.
