Prime Bank Limited launched its biometric smart card service “Prime Cash” in its Posta SME branch, Dhaka on 15th January. Managing Director & CEO of the Bank Md. Ehsan Khasru launched the service as the chief guest. Head of SME and Retail divisions of the Bank SEVP Kazi Mahmood Karim and Head of ADC SVP Salahuddin Ahmed, and Chief Operating Officer of Dipon Consultancy Services Fakhrul Islam were also present at the occasion. From now on Prime Cash service will be available to its customers at the nearby Prime Cash Service Points, Singer Plus/Mega Shop along with all the Prime Bank branches.

The Prime Cash service is given by Prime Bank Limited in association with Dipon Consultancy Services. This biometric smart card is first of its kind in Bangladesh to provide secured banking services to the unbanked people across the country simply by using their finger prints.

Through Prime Cash service the customers are able to deposit and withdraw money, inquire balance, get remittance and transfer money from one Prime Cash account to another. Besides these, DPS, utility bills payment, salary disbursement and ATM connectivity will be added in this service very shortly.
