Prime Bank financed Agriculture Loan distributed by BURO Bangladesh to its members and attended discussion meeting with the female farmers on 26th January at kotbari, comilla. Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director of Prime Bank Limited was present as Chief Guest and Md. Sirajul Islam, Director of BURO Bangladesh( Special Project) was present as Special Guest at the meeting. Mustafizur Rahman, Branch Manager of BURO Bangldesh presided over the meeting. Besides, Md. Gias Uddin, VP & Head of Ring Road Branch of Prime Bank , A N M Baki Billah, Vice President and Emdad Hossain, AVP of Agriculture Support Division of Prime Bank , Head Office and On behalf of BURO Bangladesh Abdus Salam, Regional Manager and Md. Abdul Halim, Accounts officer, Head Office of BURO Bangladesh were present the program.

In his speech as the chief guest Deputy Managing Director of Prime Bank, Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury said that there is no alternative of agriculture sector to ensure food security in Bangladesh, creating employment and removing poverty. For the development of socio economic system and to remove poverty in the Comilla Region, Prime Bank Limited already financed 50 crore to BURO Bangldesh which the NGO distributed amongst 50,000 of its members (male/female) by its 30 branches to remove poverty and for agricultural activities. He also said that Prime Bank is distributing agriculture loan titled Abad, Khamar and Nobanno through its own branches.

He visited Gouripur Branch and Bekinagar Center of BURO Bangladesh after the loan distribution program.
