Dr. Bazlul Haque Khondker holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Warwick. He was a Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Dhaka and a distinguished economist with extensive academic and policy experience. He currently serves as a Director at the Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh (PRI). He is also the Chairperson of the South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (SANEM) and Vice-Chairperson of Research and Policy Integration for Development (RAPID). His areas of expertise include development economics, macroeconomic modeling and poverty analysis. He is widely recognized in Bangladesh as an eminent academic & researcher with significant contributions to development policy & economic research.
